John Edward Ward, Jr.

John Edward Ward Jr., age 76, of Belcamp, MD, died on February 5, 2009 at Forest Hill Health and Rehabilitation in Forest Hill, MD. Born in Winchester, VA, he was the son of the late John Edward Ward Sr. and Mary Elizabeth Fravel Ward. A veteran of the U.S. Army, he served our country, from 1952 to 1955, during the Korean Conflict where he was wounded in battle. He had been a commercial truck driver, and was a member of Cub Hill Bible Presbyterian Church. He and his wife enjoyed traveling all over the country in their motor home and started camping in the 1970's with the Good Sam Club.

Mr. Ward is survived by his wife, Elsie M. Ward of Belcamp, MD; daughters, Christina Ward of Baltimore, MD and Darlene Ward of Bel Air, MD; brother, Eugene Ward of Martinsburg, WV; sister, Colleen Conard of Winchester, VA; and nine grandchildren.
