On June 13, 2010, John E. Scheno, age 48, of Aberdeen, MD, passed away unexpectedly. Born in Baltimore, MD, he was the devoted son of Jeanne Evelyn Charles Scheno of Freeland, MD and the late Vincent James Scheno. He was a sports fanatic and a true animal and car enthusiast, never meeting an animal he didn't want to take home. He made everyone laugh with his great sense of humor and dedicated his life to making people happy, entertaining and volunteering his services wherever he could..
He was the beloved husband of Edna Orjuela Scheno of Aberdeen, MD; faithful brother of James E. Scheno and wife, Paula, of TX, Valerie J. Scheno of Bel Air, MD, and Veronica J. Peterlinz and husband, Dean, of Monkton, MD; son-in-law of Dr. Reynaldo Orjuela-Gomez and Delly Orjuela-Gomez; and brother-in-law of Claudia Orjuela. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to a memorial visitation which will be held at McComas Funeral Home, P.A., Abingdon, MD on Wednesday, June 16, 2010 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A memorial mass will be held at St. John The Evangelist Catholic Church Chapel, 13305 Long Green Pike, Hydes, MD 21082, on Thursday, June 17, 2010 at 12 noon.
