John E. Hall

John E. Hall, age 78, of Bel Air, MD, died on March 12, 2010 at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air, MD. Born in Stewartstown, PA, he was the son of the late Russell Eugene and Sara Grace Jenkins Hall. He graduated from West Chester University in 1953, earned his Masters Degree from Appalachian State; and attended Teachers College. A long time member of the Harford Choral Society, he had a love of, and also taught, music for 45 years in the Harford County Public Schools. An Eagle Scout, he was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Bel Air where he participated as choir director. He enjoyed playing golf and woodworking, and had recently driven a bus for Family Services at Harford Community College.

Mr. Hall is survived by his wife of 35 years, Julia Grace Falk Hall of Bel Air, MD; sons, John Mark Hall of Norrisville, MD, James Hall of Forest Hill, MD, Jeffrey Hall of Nashville, TN; Curtis Hall of Bel Air, MD; daughters, Jennifer Labe of Bel Air, MD and Christie Hall of Arlington, VA; brother, Joseph Hall of Stewartstown, PA; and grandchildren, Karen, John Russell, Aiden, and Brody Hall and Paul and Jacob Labe.
