John David Copenhaver, Sr.

JOHN DAVID COPENHAVER, SR., age 80, of Joppa, MD, died on January 12, 2005 at the Upper Chesapeake Medical Center. He was born in Roanoke, VA. He was a supervisor for Bethlehem Steel for 37 years, and a Harford County resident for 38 years. He enjoyed gardening and maintaining his fish ponds. He served his country in the U. S. Navy during WW II.

Mr. Copenhaver is survived by his wife of 33 years, Edith L. Pape Copenhaver of Joppa, MD; three sons, John D. Copenhaver, Jr. of Joppa, MD, Harvey N. Hileman of Middle River, MD, and Bradley A. Copenhaver of Wisconsin; one daughter, Deborah M. Leftwich of North East, MD; one brother, Bill Copenhaver of Virginia Beach, VA; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
