John C. Colt

John C. Colt, age 79, of Fallston, Maryland, passed away on December 20, 2023, in Fallston, Maryland. Born in Baltimore, Maryland, he was the son of the late Rutger and Augusta Colt and the loving husband of Frances Colt. John was a proud veteran of the U.S. Army and dedicated over 40 years of his professional life to James Posey Associates as a Mechanical Engineer.

He married Frances, his cherished wife and companion, for 58 years. Together, they built a life filled with love, shared experiences, and enduring commitment. John found joy in coaching Fallston Youth Lacrosse, leaving a positive impact on the lives of young athletes. His enthusiasm extended to his favorite pastimes, including golf, beach outings, and tending to the farm.

John is survived by his devoted wife, Frances Colt; sons, John (Sheri) Colt, Jr., Timothy Colt; and a daughter, Jennifer (Joseph) Bailey. His legacy lives on through his six beloved grandchildren: Jack Colt, Benjamin Colt, Hailey Colt, Holden Colt, Colin Bailey, and Elise Bailey. He is also survived by two brothers, Rutger Colt, Jr., and Trenny Colt.
