John Carl Lynch

JOHN (CARL) LYNCH, age 73, of Bel Air, died at Gilchrist Center, Towson, on July 12, 2004. A life long resident of Harford County, he was born in Fallston the son of the late Paul and Margaret Regina Lynch. In 1947 at the age of 17, he joined the Army Air Corp. He participated in the Berlin Air Lift and was later assigned to Air Research and Development at Andrews Air Force Base and RAF Alcombury. After 22 years of service, he retired in 1970 at Eglin Air Force Base. After his military service, he worked for his brother in new home sales. He then went to work for Montgomery Ward in Bel Air where he became an award winning salesman. He retired in 1996. He was a proud member of Alcoholics Anonymous for 25 years.

Mr. Lynch is survived by his wife of 54 years, Doreen M. Lynch; a son, Glenn Stephen Lynch of Chicago, Illinois; a daughter, Regina Ann Kahoe of Forest Hill; a brother, Paul E. Lynch of Fallston; a sister, Marguerite Kidd of Bel Air; and a granddaughter, Colleen E. Kahoe of Forest Hill. In addition to his parents, Mr. Lynch was predeceased by a brother, Donald F. Lynch.
