John C. Wagner, age 72, of Fallston, MD, passed away on September 3, 2012 at Stella Maris Hospice in Timonium, MD. Born in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of the late Robert Joseph and Helen Alexander Wagner. A veteran of the U.S. Army, he served our country during the Vietnam War. A Machinist Inspector, he retired after 41 years from United Container Corporation. He was an avid farmer and gardener, and was a member of St. John's Catholic Church in Long Green, the Machinist Union, and also belonged to the Fallston Volunteer Fire Company.
Mr. Wagner is survived by his wife of 45 years, Barbara A. Ward Wagner of Fallston, MD; daughters, Stacey Ann Burkett of Shrewsbury, PA and Deana Corinne Valentini and husband, Robert D., of Bowling Green, KY; brothers, Robert A. Wagner of Easton, MD and William J. Wagner of Federalsburg, MD; sister, Mary Helen Livezy of Churchville, MD; and grandchildren, Tyler Clay Burkett of Shrewsbury, PA and Kendall Corinne and Reagan Dean Valentini of Bowling Green, KY.
Pallbearers will be Robert A. Wagner, Phillip Jones, Charles Green, Glenn Neumann, Dean Valentini and David West.
