John Barry Centineo

John Barry Centineo, age 66, of Bel Air, MD, died on March 7, 2009 at his home. Born in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of the late James Nicholas Centineo I and Cecilia Marie Barry Centineo. A 1960 graduate of Calvert Hall College High School, he also graduated from the Loyola Executive MBA Program. He was the C.F.O. for J.L. Clark Manufacturing Corporation in Havre de Grace, MD, and for 20 years, at Baldwin Filters in Kearney, NE, where he was also President of The National Association of Public Accountants. The vice president of Aberdeen Coed Softball where he was known as "Mr. C", he was also the assistant Scout Master of Troop 802 in Aberdeen, MD. A member of St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, he enjoyed spending time with his family, as well as, reading and listening to music. He also enjoyed traveling and sports.

Mr. Centineo is survived by his wife of 45 years, Mary Culotta Centineo of Bel Air, MD; children, Mary Joe Molina and husband, Fred, and Michele C. Diaz and husband, Tomas, all of Kearney, NE, John P. Centineo and wife, Debbie, and Joseph A. Centineo, all of Cleveland, OH, Penelope Lynn Centineo of Frederick, MD, and Christopher P. Centineo of York, PA; twelve grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a son, James Nicholas Centineo II; and brothers, Samuel T. Centineo and James E. Centineo.

Pallbearers will be John P. Centineo, Joseph A. Centineo, Christopher P. Centineo, Tomas R. Diaz, Fred Molina, and Justin L. Molina. Honorary pallbearers will be Manuel S. Molina, Tomas F. Diaz, John D. Centineo, and James R. Centineo.
