John A. Jubb

JOHN A. JUBB, of Forest Hill, died September 6, 2004 at Mariner Health of Forest Hill. He was 74. Born in Baltimore, he was the son of the late Gordon Paul and Elizabeth Pearl Philips Jubb. He worked for the Western Telephone Company, which later became Lucent Technology, from which he retired in 1985. After his retirement, he worked at Maryland Golf and Country Club, helping with the upkeep of the grounds. Family said he enjoyed watching and talking about sports. He loved and enjoyed his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Mr. Jubb is survived by his wife of 53 years, Elaine Shillenn Jubb; a son, Daniel Jubb and his wife, Terry of Woodbine; daughters, Susan John and her husband, Robert of Frankford, Delaware; and Laura Weskalnies and her husband, Michael of Jarrettsville; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a son, David Lee Jubb.
