Joey Wayne DeHaven Jr., age 29, of Aberdeen, MD, died on January 30, 2010 at Harford Memorial Hospital in Havre de Grace, MD. Born in Havre de Grace, he was the son of Joey Wayne DeHaven Sr. of Havre de Grace, MD and Bette Ann Cage DeHaven of Aberdeen, MD. A lifelong resident of Harford County, he graduated from Aberdeen Senior High School in 1998 and was employed for ten years, by Susquehanna Concrete in Joppa. He collected baseball cards and loved football, baseball, fishing, and bowling.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, who he has been together with for 13 years, Rebecca L. DeHaven of Aberdeen, MD; son, Branden L. DeHaven of Aberdeen, MD; daughter, Christa L. DeHaven of Aberdeen, MD; brother, Joshua A. DeHaven-Zieger of Perryman, MD; sister, Meghan R. Anaya of Aberdeen, MD and Erika J. DeHaven of Havre de Grace, MD; stepmother, Karen L. DeHaven of Havre de Grace, MD; grandmothers, Arlene J. Cage and Dorothy DeHaven, both of Aberdeen, MD; special friends, Chris Anaya of Aberdeen, MD and Jeremy Case of Edgewood, MD; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
