Joann Elaine Deel

JoAnn Elaine Deel, age 74, of Joppa, Maryland passed away on February 28, 2020 at her home. Born in Baltimore, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Julius Ceaser and Lottie Elaine (Kerns) Johnston and wife of the late Don Deel.

JoAnn was the rock of her family. She enjoyed spending time with her family and watching her grandchildren and great grandchildren grow. JoAnn enjoyed speaking about her faith and singing her Gospel songs. Her love for pizza, Diet Coke, and Jeopardy cannot be forgotten. JoAnn touched many people and will forever live on in our hearts.

JoAnn is survived by her daughter, Kimberly S. Lorden and her husband, Paul; son Jarrett L. Deel and his wife, Jenny; two granddaughters, Lauren B. Deel and her partner, Tyler and Kaitlyn L. Deel; grandson, William James Doran and his partner, Chelsea; two great grandsons, Gavin Quade and Graysen Owen Doran; great-granddaughter, Brinlee Elaine Marie Boone; five sisters, Christine Robar, Linda Marie Narango, Jeanette Harrington, Diane Bons, and Pamela Gwinner; and brother, Richard Johnston.
