Joan Miriam Grubb

JOAN PETRASEK GRUBB, age 62, of Bel Air, MD, died on January 29, 2006 at her home. Born in Haddonfield, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Aurel George and Joyce Divine Weaver Petrasek. She was a computer systems analyst for Millennium Inorganic Chemicals in Hunt Valley, MD. She also directed light aerobics classes in Bel Air for the Harford County Department of Parks and Recreation, and had been a 4-H leader in Lancaster, PA and a former member of the Hempfield Woman’s Club.

Mrs. Grubb is survived by her husband of 42 years, Joe R. Grubb of Bel Air; two daughters, Christine Jordan Sharma of San Jose, CA and Wendy Lynn King of West Chester, PA; one brother, Geoffrey A. Petrasek of Lancaster, PA; two sisters, Barbara J. Melchiskey of Camden, ME and Elaine P. Crigler of Emerald Isle, NC; and six grandchildren, Jai Sharma, Maja Sharma and Anna Jordan, all of San Jose, CA, and Austin King, Molly King and Avery King, all of West Chester, PA.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a brother, Richard A. Petrasek; and a sister, Joyce Smailes Middleton.
