Joan F. Lowe

Joan Francis (Bishop) Lowe, 78 of Scottsville, VA and formerly of Port Deposit, MD was reunited with her loved ones and Lord on the evening of Monday, October 15, 2018 on her terms, with her daughters Terry and Robin by her side. Born in Joppa, MD, she was the eldest daughter of John J. and Isabel F. (Porter) Bishop of Whitemarsh, MD. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Edward Lowe; two children, Joseph Edward Lowe, Jr. and Donna Michele Deaton; and two siblings, John "Jack" Bishop and Betty Jane Polk.
Joan loved crabbing, gardening, Orioles baseball, Scrabble, Henny-Jenny, and watching the hummingbirds at the window feeder, but most of all she treasured her time with her family. The visits and long distance calls were never lost time with her and she was thankful for all those who took the time.
Survivors include her daughters, Terry Lynn Lowe and Robin Ann Lowe; brother-in-law, James "Pat" Lowe and wife, Lula; grandchildren, Steven and Austin Morrow, Taylor and Amanda Deaton and Vanessa Williams; great-granddaughters, Isabella and Lilly Morrow; a niece, Sandy Whittington; and a nephew, John Polk.
