Joan Earline Olszewski

JOAN EARLINE OLSZEWSKI (nee DAVIES), age 60, of Edgewood, died in Good Samaritan Hospital on July 16, 2004. Born in Chester, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late James Earl and Madalyn Theresa Lavin Davies. She had retired in 1989 as a secretary for the Joint Chief of Staff for the Department of Defense . She was a 1961 graduate of Edgewood High School. She enjoyed making artificial flower arrangements, painting seashells, boating and fishing.

Mrs. Olszewski is survived by a son, David Olszewski of Deale, Maryland; two brothers, James Davies of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; Thomas Davies of Kingsville; one sister, Carole Porter of Jarrettsville; and one granddaughter, Cassidy Audra Olszewski of Deale.
