Joan E. Lesley

Joan E. Lesley, age 88, of White Hall, Maryland passed away at home on February 16, 2022. Born in Baltimore, Maryland, she was the daughter of Eugene and Grace (Moore) German and wife of the late Glenn O. Lesley. In her earlier years, she was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary, VFW and was active with William Watters United Methodist Church.  Joan always had a cake or sweet to offer when you entered her kitchen.  Her loving demeanor and hospitality made everyone feel right at home.  She also enjoyed spending time in her flower garden and tending to her plants. Above all Joan cherished her time spent with her grandchildren and family.     

Joan is survived by her son, Glenn A. Lesley; daughter, Elizabeth Ann Lesley; and grandchildren, Dalton and Savannah Lesley.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn Oran Lesley; father, Eugene Frederick Lowman; mother, Grace Evelyn German; and brother, Eugene F. Lowman.
