Joan Anna Dutterer, age 85, of Joppa, Maryland, passed away on June 15, 2024, at her home. Born in Baltimore County, Maryland, she was the daughter of John Henry Coster and Elizabeth (Berner) Coster.
Joan grew up in Perry Hall, Maryland, and retired from Paramount Die Company, Inc. She was a devoted member of Mountain Christian Church since 1969, where she taught Sunday School classes, managed the cancer survivor group, and served as a greeter for several years. Joan enjoyed line dancing with her husband Tom, daughter Debbie, and granddaughter Melissa. She was also an avid bowler and part of a bowling league in Perry Hall. Joan was a loyal fan of the Baltimore Colts, Ravens, and Orioles.
Joan is survived by her husband, Thomas Dutterer; her son Robert Glaze, Jr. her daughter, Deborah Emery and husband Jim; her step-daughter, Jaqueline Reed; her step-sons, Bernie Fogler III, Michael Dutterer and wife Meredith, and Bradley Dutterer and wife Trisha; her grandchildren, Ashley Griffin and husband Sean, Trista Glaze, Adam O’Loughlin, Melissa Maranto, Justus Dutterer, James Dutterer, Madison Dutterer, Austin Dutterer, Lee Dutterer, Brooklynn Dutterer, Kamdyn Dutterer and Chase Dutterer; her great-grandsons, Pierce Griffin, Noah Griffin, Chance Francher, Cam Rivera, Aiden O’Loughlin, and Gage O’Loughlin; her great-granddaughters, Isabella Griffin, Emberlynn Rivera, Sophia O’Loughlin, Lacey Bixler and Kayla Bixler; and her brother, John Coster, Jr.
