Joan Carol Lacasse Brannan

Joan Carol LaCasse Brannan, age 43, of Churchville, MD, died on August 13, 2009 at her home. Born in Baltimore, MD, she was the daughter of Bernadette A. Coffay LaCasse of Timonium, MD and the late Charles LaCasse. A graduate of Loyola College, she had attended Mendham High School in Mendham, NJ, and had worked in the banking industry for over 20 years. Joan was an extremely devoted wife and mother who always placed her family first and looked forward to family activities and vacations. Her goal was always to create lasting memories. Joan was very active in efforts to support and fund breast cancer research. She volunteered and participated in several major events, raising over $100, 000.00 for the breast cancer cause.

Mrs. Brannan is survived by her husband, Steven Mark Brannan of Churchville, MD; children, Austin Mark and Amanda Josephine Brannan of Churchville, MD; brother, Chip LaCasse of Towson, MD; and sisters, Maureen LaCasse Dell of Ellicott City, MD and Martha LaCasse Grover of Glen Arm, MD.
