Joan Ada Palmer

September 9, 1943 — September 6, 2022

On the 6th day of September, 2022, Joan Ada Palmer (nee Goodman) went home to be with God as she was surrounded by her family at her home in Abingdon. Joan was born to the late Lynn Leonard and Lois Riddell Goodman (nee Gamble) of Williamsport, Pennsylvania on September 9, 1943.

She also loved camping traveling, reading, watching a good musical, square dancing, sewing, crocheting, but most of all, she loved spending time with her family. Joan was a devout member of her church, Wesleyan Chapel United Methodist Church, where she will be laid to rest. Joan’s big heart and her gracious spirit will surely be missed by everyone.
