Joan A. Mccreesh

JOAN A. McCREESH, age 65, of Abingdon, died at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center on November 5, 2005.

Born in Baltimore, Mrs. McCreesh was the daughter of the late William Mozart and Gladys Ellen Teders Lansinger, and the wife of the late Arthur H. McCreesh. She was a homemaker and a long time member of St. Margaret Church where she taught C.C.D. class. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother to her family.

Mrs. McCreesh is survived by one son, Donald A. McCreesh and his wife, Mary F. McCreesh of Fallston; two daughters, Margaret A. McCreesh of Bel Air and Cynthia M. Quick and her husband, Robert J. Quick, Jr., of Bel Air; one brother, William Lansinger of Reisterstown; two sisters, Gladys Pocta of New Bern, NC, and Barbara Riley of Baltimore; and seven grandchildren. She was predeceased by a daughter, Susan E. McCreesh and a sister, Elaine Lansinger.
