Jo Stamper, age 74, of Bel Air, MD passed away on October 29, 2012 at her home. Born in Trappe Hill, NC she was the daughter of the late James Frank and Bessie Mae Billings. A Harford County resident for 54 years, she had worked as a kitchen aide for Bel Air Health and Rehabilitation. She was a member of Edgewood Assembly of God for 45 years, was the Matriarch of the family and a good cook. She enjoyed Farmville, computer games, loved flowers and her fish pond.
Mrs. Stamper is survived by her husband of 54 years, Vaughn Stamper of Bel Air, MD; son, Robert V. Stamper of Aberdeen, MD; daughter, Tonya Boynton and husband, Terry of Street, MD; brother, Otto Billings and wife, Christine, of Trappe Hill, NC; sisters, Betty Thompson and husband, Bob of Forest Hill, MD, Hattie Bonham and husband, Bob of Bel Air, MD and Mary Evelyn Bowers and husband George, of Aberdeen, MD; grandchildren, Tyler Copeland and Kelcie Stamper; and great grandchild, Cameron Potter. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her siblings, Dwight Billings and Naomi Billings.
Pallbearers were Greg Thompson, Brian Billings, Eddie Bauguess, Jeff Bauguess, Daniel Lynch and Michael Lynch.
