J.J. Edward Mackabee

October 25, 1929 — January 31, 2014

J.J. Edward Mackabee, age 84, of Forest Hill, MD, passed away on January 31, 2014 at Hart Heritage in Street, MD. Born in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of the late William Edward Mackabee Sr. and Ella Frances (Zink) Mackabee and husband of the late Thelma Louise (Kispert) Mackabee. A veteran of the U.S. Army, he served our country during the Korean War. He retired from Lord Baltimore Press in Baltimore City where he worked as a Lithographer. He then went on to work in real estate and appraisals. He had lived in the Fenwick area of Delaware and then 10 years ago, moved back to the local area. He loved his grandsons and enjoyed the families' dogs very much. He also enjoyed going out on his pontoon boat fishing and crabbing while residing in Delaware.

Mr. Mackabee is survived by his son, Keith E. Mackabee of Parsonsburg; daughter, Karen L. Taylor and husband, Jerry, of Bel Air; sister, Isabel Bitter of Bel Air; and grandchildren Todd and Chad Taylor. He was predeceased by his brother, William E. Mackabee, Jr.
