Jim Genna

Jim Genna, age 75, of Abingdon, MD passed away on September 2, 2014 at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center in Baltimore. Born in the Bronx, NY, he is the son of Johanna Genna of California and the late Vito Genna. A mechanic supervisor for the City of Baltimore, he was also a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church since 1970, as well as, a past usher. He enjoyed the outdoors and loved reading, riding motorcycles, vacationing and cars.

In addition to his mother, Mr. Genna is survived by his wife of 53 years, Anna J. Genna; son, James T. Genna Sr. of Abingdon; brothers, Richard V. Genna of Virginia and Vito Genna of California; daughter-in-law Donna Genna-Walters of Abingdon; grandchildren, Jackie L. Fritts and wife, Allison, James T. Genna Jr. and wife Jennifer, Haley M. Genna and Delanie Genna; great grandchildren, Alexis T. Fritts and Richard J. Fritts. In addition to his father, he was predeceased by his sons, Robert M. Genna and Richard V. Genna Sr., brother, Phillip Genna, and grandson, Richie V. Genna Jr.
