Jim Antal

Jim Antal, age 69, of Fallston, MD passed away on March 5, 2012 at his home. Born in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of the late John Stephen and Elizabeth Chaboy Antal. He retired, after 30 years, from the Baltimore County School System where he was a librarian and also worked at the Institute of Notre Dame. He was a longtime member of St. Margaret Catholic Church where he served as a Religious Education teacher, Eucharistic Minister at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center, coordinated the lunches for the homeless and served on the Parish Council. He was also a Hospice Volunteer at the Senator Bob Hooper House and was very active in Marriage Encounter.

Mr. Antal is survived by his wife of 46 years, Donna Jean Whitman Antal of Fallston, MD; son Jim E. Antal Jr. and wife, Vicki L., of Bel Air, MD; daughter, Julie E. Paone and husband, Frank, of Westfield, NJ; brother, Dennis Antal of Essex, MD; sister, Marianne Bayer of Harpers Ferry, WV; six grandchildren, Haley, Josh and Paige Antal and Sophia, Phoebe and Griffin Paone; and nieces and nephews, Ray, Samantha and Jeremiah Dean.

Pallbearers will be Jim E. Antal Jr., Pat Venanzi, Ray Vandenbosche, Ron Basener, Jim Dehn, Charlie Filburn and Jerry Cook.
