Jessie Morrison Richards

Jessie Morrison Richards, 81, of Edgewood, MD passed away on August 21, 2015 at Harford Memorial Hospital in Havre de Grace, MD. Born in Esty, WV, she was the daughter of the late Harry Thomas Morrison and Glenna Catherine (Clutter) Morrison and wife of the late Ralph E. Richards Sr. She loved going to church and attended Harmony Freewill Baptist Church in Middle River. She also loved good singing and preaching and enjoyed attending singings. She loved to travel and spend time with her family and loved being with her children and grandchildren.

Mrs. Richards is survived by her sons, Gary Richards Sr. and wife, Peggy, of Delta, PA, Roger Richards and wife, Yvonne, of Fawn Grove, PA; daughters, Mary Schwinzer-Gallihugh and husband, Charles, of Edgewood; brother, Harry Morrison of Havre de Grace; stepson, Mike Richards of Baltimore; nine grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her son, Edward Morrison; daughter, Christina Clark Tillman; infant son, Lester; stepsons, Ralph Richards Jr. and Donnie Richards; and siblings, Clara Hammerer, Bonnie Murphy, Ruby Miller, Ernest and Ralph Morrison.

Pallbearers will be Mark Schwinzer, Mike Waid, Gary Richards II, Daniel Richards, Ricky Morrison and Sam Meadows. Honorary pallbearer will be Cameron Waid.
