Jessie Mcmillan

Jessie McMillan, age 80, of Street, MD passed away on August 9, 2014 at the Senator Bob Hooper House in Forest Hill. Born in Mouth of Wilson, VA, she was the daughter of the late William Emory and Polly Jane Dowell Smith and wife of the late Gilbert Greek McMillan, who she married on July 10, 1948. A homemaker, she loved to bake for her family, friends and neighbors, go to church and attend gospel singings.

Mrs. McMillan is survived by her children, Nancy C. Oropallo and husband, Vincent, of Danville, VA, Delmas "Del" McMillan of the home in Street, and Glenda S. Cosenza and husband, David, of Churchville; sister, Blandena Carter of Bel Air; grandchildren, Brandon Oropallo and wife, Kara, Brian Oropallo, David Cosenza Jr. and wife, Stephanie, and Rebecca Cosenza; and great grandchildren, Drew, Liam and Sadie. In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by sisters and brothers.
