Jessie Gwynn Morrison

Jessie Gwynn Morrison, age 67, of Darlington, MD, died on May 6, 2011 at her daughters home. Born in Havre de Grace, MD, she was the daughter of the late Woodrow and Martha Adeline Billings Dowell and wife of the late Avis Wilburn Morrison. A Harford County resident for most of her life, she was a pastor's wife and loved serving the Lord through her singing ministry. She loved to be outdoors, gardening, watching birds or going to the beach, but her favorite past time was spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Mrs. Morrison is survived by her daughters, Sherrie Hutton and her husband, Larry, and Shenna Morrison and her husband, Rick, all of Street, MD and Shawn Stroup and her husband, Robert, of Middle River, MD; brother, Gerald Dowell of Havre de Grace, MD; sisters, Janice Blakley of Port Deposit, MD, Carol Adkins of Havre de Grace, MD and Betty Rudd of Darlington, MD; grandchildren, Tanya Williams, John Kinhart, Ricky Morrison, Nichole Evans, Steven and Jessie Morrison, and Jeremy and Sarah Stroup; and great grandchildren, Randy Williams III, Connor, Ryland, Seth and Adam Morrison and Billy Straw.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her son James Morrison and her daughters, Brenda and Jessie Morrison.

Pallbearers were John Kinhart, Randy Williams Jr., Ricky, Steven and Jessie Morrison, and Jeremy Stroup.
