Jessie E. Johnson

JESSIE E. JOHNSON, age 96, of Street, MD, died on August 22, 2007 at Eagle View Elder Care, Whiteford, MD. Born in Jarrettsville, MD, she was the daughter of the late Martin Norman and Elizabeth Ann Thomas. She worked many years in Baltimore for Goetze’s Meats where she was a meat processor. At one point she worked 13 years straight without missing a day. She enjoyed the outdoors, especially her garden, and she loved to cook.

Mrs. Johnson is survived by two brothers, Charles G. Thomas of Forest Hill, MD and Stanley C. Thomas of Perry Hall, MD; two sisters, Genevieve B. Thomas of Street, MD and Mary L. Gronzik of Churchville, MD; and many nieces and nephews.
