Jesse E. Bandy

Jesse E. Bandy, age 80, of Port Deposit, MD, died on December 13, 2010 at his home. Born in Tazewell, VA, he was the son of the late George Thomas and Elisa Matilda Mitchell Bandy. A veteran of the U.S. Army, he served our country during the Korean War. He worked six years for Glenn L. Martin, and 35 years as a carpenter. He was active at Carsins Run Baptist Church and enjoyed working in the garden.

Mr. Bandy is survived by his wife, Irene Bandy of Port Deposit, MD; sons, David E. Bandy of Rising Sun, MD and Joseph L. Bandy of Colora, MD; daughter, Susan Ann Dancy of Aberdeen, MD; brother, Jack Bandy of San Antonio, TX; sisters, Nanna Lou Blankenship of Bluefield, VA and Virginia Ogle of Lugoff, SC; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his first wife of 44 years, Ruth L. Brannon Bandy; brothers, George Bandy Jr., Elbert Bandy, and Raymond Bandy; and his grandson.
