Jesse B. Stacey Sr., age 89, of Bel Air, MD, passed away on August 19, 2012 at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air, MD. Born in Baltimore, MD he was the son of the late Jesse Levi and Blanche G. Bradford Stacey. A veteran of the U.S. Army, he served our country during WWII where he was awarded the Purple Heart. A resident of Harford County since 1963, he worked for Signode Manufacturing Company for 35 years. He was a member of the American Legion Post #39 and Bel Air VFW, and also volunteered at Perry Point VA Hospital. After retirement, he spent the rest of his life enjoying his grand and great-grandchildren.
Mr. Stacey is survived by his wife of 70 years, Rosalie N. Stacey of Bel Air, MD; son, Jesse Stacey Jr. of Bel Air, MD; daughter, Diane Stacey Cox and husband, Steve, of Bel Air, MD; daughter-in-law, Patricia Stacey of Bel Air, MD; seven grandchildren, Colleen Ortman, Christopher Cox, Gina Frontera, Giovanna Stacey, Lauren Cyran, Pamela Goss and Bryan Cox; 12 great-grandchildren, Nicolas Cox, Dominac Frontera, Noah Frontera, Julia Cox, Joshua Ortman, Emma Cox, Zachary Goss, Jacob Ortman, Sophia Cox, William Goss and Avery Cyran; and nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his loving son, Frank Stacey and great-grandson, Seth Mosley.
