Jerry O. Hudson

Jerry O. Hudson, age 74, of Port Deposit, MD, passed away on September 2, 2014 at his home. Born in Pearisburg, VA, he was the son of the late James Odell Hudson and Gladys Lee Tabor Hudson. For 40 years, he owned and operated J. O. Hudson Marine Services where he truly loved his work. He also loved to fish, boat and eat crabs. He was a member of Bush River Yacht Club for 41 years and had distinguished himself in Power Squadron competitions. In the early 1970's he walked the picket line with the Teamsters for 56 days.

Mr. Hudson is survived by his wife of 55 years, Elsie Jane Hudson; daughters, Beth Ann Hudson-Tuck and husband, Robert C., of Port Deposit and Crystal Elaine Hudson-Boyd and husband, Kenneth, of Rising Sun; sister, Barbara Croy of Pembroke, VA; and his "baby" and little princess, Lexie.
