Jerry Lee Doss Sr.

May 31, 1943 — October 5, 2021

Jerry Lee Doss Sr., age 78, of Abingdon, Maryland passed away on October 5, 2021 at Johns Hopkins Medical Center in Baltimore, Maryland. Born in Chelyan, West Virginia, he was the son of Gilbert and Violet (Price) Doss and husband of Lottie Jean (White) Doss. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving our country in the Vietnam War and was a member of the VFW and American Legion. After his military service, he continued to serve the warfighter as the vice president of government operations for Terotek International, Aberdeen Proving Grounds, and Aberdeen Test Center (ATC) until his final retirement. He enjoyed taking long family drives and traveling worldwide with his wife and sons. He loved the mountains, was fascinated by railroad and he enjoyed hunting and fishing and the outdoors.

In addition to his wife, Jerry is survived by his sons, Jerry Doss, Jr. and Joseph Doss; brother, Bruis Doss; 5 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sisters, Karen Doss, Margaret Doss and Beverly Doss.
