Jerome (Jerry) Edward Meany

JEROME (JERRY) EDWARD MEANY, age 58, of Edgewood, died at Johns Hopkins Bayview, Baltimore, on June 28, 2005. Born in Linz, Austria, he was the son of the late Jerome Patrick and Elfriede “Mike” Hofer Meany. A resident of Harford County for 19 years, he was a member of St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church, Abingdon, and the Knights of Columbus. He had worked for Mariner Bank for five years. He enjoyed umpiring for softball, 1950’s music, hunting, and fishing and was an avid sports fan. He loved his pets, his greyhound, Patti, his cats, Misty and Brandon and his cat, Mai Tai, who recently passed.

Mr. Meany is survived by his wife of 20 years, Tammy Pack Meany; a son, Michael Thomas Meany of Dundalk; a daughter, Kimberly Elizabeth Meany of Edgewood; a brother, Patrick M. Meany of Ellicott City; and three grandchildren.
