Jeremy C. Rietschel

Jeremy C. Rietschel, PhD, age 36 , of Baltimore, MD passed away on July 20th. Born in Fairfax, VA, he was the son of Janis Lee (DeCamilla) Rietschel and the late John Masterman Rietschel. He enjoyed the outdoors and had hiked the Appalachian Trail. He worked as a cognitive neuroscience researcher for the Veterans Administration. Jeremy loved to be adventurous with his passion for cooking and was always trying innovative recipes.

Mr. Rietschel is survived by two brothers, Stephen Rietschel (Allyson) and Matt Rietschel (Kelly); two nephews, Jonathan Rietschel and Elliott Rietschel; and niece, Olivia Rietschel.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Baltimore Animal Rescue
and Care Shelter (BARCS) or charity of your choosing to honor him.
