Jencie Dailey, age 88, of Bel Air, MD, died on March 29, 2009 at Stella Maris Hospice in Timonium, MD. Born in Helton, NC, she was the daughter of the late Gordon David and Nannie Belle Blevins Ball and wife of the late Jack Dailey. A Harford County resident since she was 8 years old, she had worked for Reed's Drug Store as a pharmacy clerk for 10 years, as key lady at the Bel Air High School and Prospect Mill Elementary cafeterias for 20 years and as a certified nursing assistant. She was a member of Bel Air United Methodist Church and the Post 39 American Legion Auxiliary.
Mrs. Dailey is survived by her daughters, Jackie Archer of Middle River, MD and Jennifer M. Kropkowski of Bel Air, MD; her brother, Jack Ball of Little River, SC; sisters, Ruby Bartlett of Aberdeen, MD, June Klineyoung of York, PA and Betty Jo Dillon of Fallston, MD; grandchildren, Teresa Dennis, Dyan Rader, David Archer, Allison Demski, Matthew Ramsey, Jill Kropkowski and Kevin Kropkowski; and 11 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers a contribution may be made to Bel Air United Methodist Church, 21 Linwood Avenue, Bel Air, MD 21014.
