Jeff Pierce

Jeff Pierce, age 58, of Aberdeen, Maryland passed away on August 31, 2018 at his home. Born in Ft. Belvoir, Virginia, he was the son of John Raymond and Betty Jane (Smith) Pierce. He retired from the U.S. Army Contracting Command- Aberdeen in 2014 after 33 years of service, including many years as a Contracting Officer and supervisor.

Jeff was an outstanding musician and songwriter. He volunteered his services to play at local fundraisers for the Fallston Animal Rescue (FARM), and other non-profit groups. He started an online music and a political club. Jeff was a man of many passions: an avid musician, reader, genealogist, historian, to name a few. He loved to laugh and had a wonderful sense of humor.

Mr. Pierce is survived by his beloved wife, Judith C. Pierce; two sisters, Katherine Dianne and Greg Smith of Sun City, AZ and Jan Pierce and Michael Stinchcomb of Abingdon; two brothers, John Bradley and Jan Pierce of Davenport, IA and David Allen and Eileen Foote Pierce of Tacoma Park; mother-in-law, Judith Joesting Cass of Churchville; brother-in-law, Bill Cass and wife, Shelby, of Havre de Grace; many nieces and nephews; and his three beloved rescue dogs.
