Jeff Peck

Jeff Peck, age 24, of Jarrettsvile, MD, died on January 10, 2011. Born in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of Hugh Everett and Dolores Cecelia Filar Peck. He graduated at age 14, with honors, from Towson University in 2001, where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology, specializing in Microbiology and Immunology. He later attended the West Virginia University School of Medicine.

Jeff was employed for several years at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, and was currently working as a Scientist at Becton Dickinson (BD).

Jeff loved reading, music, computers, swimming, and his car. He was outgoing and energetic. He dearly loved his family and his devoted girlfriend, Marianne Ramsay, and said he loved all of his friends very much, and that it was a joy to work with his BD coworkers. He touched so many lives in the short time he was here.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his aunts, Vaudna Pauline Bennett and Anna Ruth Peck, both of Waldorf, MD, and "Aunt" Ginny Boch of Bel Air, MD; uncles William Troy Peck of Springfield, VA, and Donald Adam Filar of Baltimore, MD; many cousins; and a host of friends.
