Jeanne Marie Light Seippel

January 15, 1921 — January 24, 2011

Jeanne Marie Light Seippel, age 90, of Parkville, MD, died on January 24, 2011 at Oak Crest Village Hospice in Parkville, MD. Born in Glenside, PA, she was the daughter of the late Leigh Pearson and Kathryn Harrie Stoll Light. A charter member of Christ Our King Presbyterian Church, she had worked as a registered nurse in Abington Hospital in Abington, PA. She was an avid bridge player and pianist.

Mrs. Seippel is survived by her husband of 66 years, J. Kenneth Seippel of Parkville, MD, formerly of Bel Air; sons, Leigh Seippel and Susan Patterson, of Cold Spring, NY and New York, NY, Scott Seippel and wife, Darlene, of Churchville, MD, and Ronald Seippel and wife, Catherine, of Havre de Grace, MD; grandchildren, Alex Seippel and wife, Mirka, of Cap d' Antibes, France, Erin Seippel of New York, NY, and Lauren Seippel of Frostburg, MD; and great-grandchildren, Alzbeta and Imogen Seippel of Cap d' Antibes, France.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Gilchrist Center for Hospice Care, 11311 McCormick Road, Suite 350, Hunt Valley, MD 21031.
