Jeanne Ann Nusca

Jeanne Ann Nusca, age 84, of Abingdon, MD passed away peacefully on September 2, 2013 in Bel Air. She was born in Baltimore on April 9, 1929 to the late George and Cecilia (Moylan) Meyer. Jeanne's family then moved to Albany, NY where she was raised. She was a member of St. Teresa Roman Catholic Church where she attended elementary school. She graduated from the Academy of the Holy Names, class of 1947, and in 1953 from the Mildred Elley Secretarial School. Following graduation, she began her career as a business and legal secretary. In 1956, she married Michael J. Nusca, Sr. of Troy, NY (deceased). In 1959 Jeanne and her family moved to Baltimore where she continued her secretarial career of 37 years. She also raised her three children here: Mary Jeanne, Michael and Gregory. After retirement, she lived in Lutherville-Timonium and attended Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church. Later she moved to Abingdon where she attended St. Francis de Sales in Abingdon, St. Joan of Arc in Aberdeen, and St. Margaret in Bel Air.

Jeanne is survived by her daughter, Mary Jeanne Nusca of Lutherville-Timonium; her son, Gregory Nusca of Miami, FL; her son, Michael J. Nusca Jr,. PhD, and wife Anna of Abingdon; and her grandson, Benjamin Nusca of Abingdon.


In lieu of flowers, donations in Jeanne's name may be made to St. Margaret Church, 141 N. Hickory Ave., Bel Air, MD 21014.
