Jeanette Louise Gross

Jeanette Louise Gross, age 84, of Bel Air, MD, died on June 13, 2009 at Harford Memorial Hospital in Havre de Grace, MD. Born in Emmorton, MD, she was the daughter of the late John G. and Bessie Lee League Hooper. Her hobbies included gardening, singing in the choir at Calvary United Methodist Church, and her vacations at the ocean. She loved spending time with her family.

Mrs. Gross is survived by her husband of 65 years, William Henry Gross Sr.; sons, William "Steve" Gross and wife, Shirley, and William "Bill" Henry Gross Jr. and wife, Dale; daughters, Mary Louise Cruise and husband, Jimmy, Susan Elizabeth Turner and husband, Glenn, Brenda Lee Krause and husband, Dave; brother, Vernon "Pete" Leroy Hooper and wife, Mary; sister, Edith Lucille Barber; 11 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her daughter, Linda L. Gross; and siblings, Edward Walter Hooper, Clifton Monroe Hooper, Mary Martin Hooper, Sadie Bell Sims, Nellie Irene Gant, and Mable Ruth Kline.
