Jeane Marie Vaught

Jeane Marie Vaught, age 78, of Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD passed away on March 17, 2016 at Harford Memorial Hospital in Havre de Grace, MD. Born in Havre de Grace, she was the daughter of the late James J. and Mildred Elizabeth Nichols Harkness and wife of the late Robert N. Vaught Sr. A homemaker, she was known by her CB handle of "Mean Jeane" and could be ornery.

Mrs. Vaught is survived by her son, Robert Neal Vaught Jr. and wife, Joyce See of Aberdeen; daughters, Robin L. Arnold of Bradley, SC and Cindy L. Skidmore and husband, Kenneth R., of Aberdeen Proving Ground; brothers, Russell and Buddy Harkness; sister, Alice Boyd; grandchildren, Robert N. Vaught III, Jeremy Arnold and Nate Skidmore; and her loving nieces and nephews who were like her own children. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her brother, Billy Harkness; sisters, Betty Schantz and Vera Harkness; and son-in-law James Arnold.
