JEAN P. PHILLIPS, age 83, of Parkville, formerly of Fallston, died in Oak Crest Village on April 9, 2005. Born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late Mathias and Anna Potter Prass and the wife of the late John E. Phillips. She had earned a degree in music from Carnegie Mellon in Pittsburgh, PA and taught music early in her life. She was a very active member of the Fallston United Methodist Church and enjoyed singing in the choir.
Mrs. Phillips is survived by two sons, John M. Phillips and his wife, Trudy of Lynchburg, Virginia and David W. Phillips of Baltimore; one daughter, Ruth A. Phillips and her husband Andy Erdman of Parkville; five grandchildren, Ian Erdman of Parkville, Maxwell Erdman of Parkville, Emilie Phillips of Lynchburg, VA, Jerry Phillips of Lynchburg, Virginia, and Aspen Phillips of Lynchburg, Virginia. In addition to her parents and her husband, she was predeceased by one grandchild, Mathias Phillips.
