Jean Gloria Kochowicz

Jean G. Salamone Kochowicz, of Forest Hill MD, passed away on September 25th, 2010.

Jean was born in White Deer, PA in 1929, and moved to the Washington DC area following WWII. Jean worked for Arthur Andersen until the birth of her children starting in 1958. After raising her two sons, Jean began her career at Citizens Bank of Maryland where she served as Assistant Treasurer and Vice President through numerous mergers and subsequent acquisition by SunTrust. Jean retired as Vice President in 1997 and moved from Burtonsville, MD to Forest Hill, MD. Jean was a member of St. Margaret Catholic Church in Bel Air, where she actively participated in church groups until being physically unable to continue in those efforts.

Jean was 80 years old and leaves behind children, Daryl & Cathy Salamone of Bel Air MD, John & Carolyn Salamone of Potomac Falls VA, grandchildren John, Andrew, Madeline, James, Robert, Catherine & Maria, and brother Ronald Smith of White Deer, PA. Jean was a kind, gentle woman and loving mother & grandmother who will be missed by all who knew her.

Jean will be buried at Arlington National Cemetery on Friday, December 3, 2010, with a Catholic Funeral Mass at Arlington National Cemetery, Old Post Chapel at Fort Myer, with arrival by 12:15 pm, followed by a graveside burial.
