Jean Carol Steck

Jean Carol Steck, 71, of Abingdon, MD passed away on January 12, 2016 at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air, MD. Born in Flushing, NY, she was the daughter of the late August Otto Grabowsky and Barbara (Herbert) Grabowsky. She was the owner and operator, for 31 years, of the Lakeside Motel and Super 8. She was a member of the RV clubs, FMCA Capitol Chapter and Good Sam Maryland Stinkers.

Mrs. Steck is survived by her husband of 49 years, Konrad Steck; son, Charles A. Steck of Edgewood; daughters, Carol A. Blankenship of Street and Connie A. Steck of Joppa; sister, Irene Buhler of Milford, PA; and grandchildren, Sharon and Robert Blankenship.
