In loving memory of Jean Ann Brown, age 86, who passed away on March 14, 2024, at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air, Maryland. Jean was born in Detroit, Michigan, to the late Ross Horlocker and Geraldine Behers and was the beloved wife of the late Richard Brown.
Jean's life was deeply rooted in faith and community. She was a dedicated member of Trinity Lutheran Church for six decades, where she served as a pastoral assistant for an admirable 40 years. Her commitment and devotion to her church family were truly inspiring and left an indelible mark on all who knew her.
Beyond her church work, Jean cherished her time with family and was an avid traveler. She was especially fond of spending quality time with her grandchildren and played a significant role in their upbringing, leaving behind cherished memories and invaluable life lessons.
Jean is survived by her loving sons, Kendall Ross Brown of Joppa, MD; and Rick (Dennise) Brown of Stewartstown, PA, and her adored grandchildren, Caitlin (Bret) Amerman, Alex & Adam Brown; and her great-granddaughter, Scarlett Amerman.
In honor of Jean's memory, contributions may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church at 1100 Philadelphia Road, Joppa, MD 21085, in lieu of flowers. Jean's legacy of faith, love, and dedication to family and community will forever be cherished and remembered.
