Mrs. Ault grew up in Western Springs and LaGrange, Illinois, graduating from Lyons Township High School. She followed in her father’s footsteps attending Cornell University, where she was a Kappa Alpha Theta, graduating with a B.A. degree in Human Ecology. She married her high school sweetheart, Jesse Louis Ault, before he left for the Pacific on an LCI (Landing Craft Infantry) in WWII. She loved sailing in Maine and on the Chesapeake Bay, and played golf to the age of 84, beating her children at the game and having two holes-in-one. She enjoyed bridge, traveling and knitting and every relative has at least one wonderful wool sweater. She was a special friend to many.
Mrs. Ault is survived by four children, Jane A. Ault, Jesse Louis Ault, Jr., Jeffrey Farnum Ault, and James Winfield Ault; five grandchildren and four great grandchildren, with one on the way.
