Jd Baker

JD Baker, age 85, of Forest Hill, MD passed away on October 20, 2012 at his home. Born in Wise County, VA, he was the son of the late Bessie Baker and husband, for 60 years, of the late Resona Baker. A 17 year veteran of the U.S. Army, he served our country in WWII, Korea and Japan. He worked for the county highways for 20 years as a maintenance worker, enjoyed Bluegrass music, was in a band and attended the Encouraged Church of Bel Air.

Mr. Baker is survived by his daughter, Mary Jane Johns of Texas; grandchildren, Samantha, Sunnie and Stephanie; and six great grandchildren.
