J.B. Parsons

J. B. PARSONS, age 93, of Bel Air, MD, died on December 2, 2006 at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center. Born in Volney, VA, he was the son of the late James Todd and Rose Anna Vaught Parsons. He married his wife, Ada, in 1939, and moved to Harford County in 1942. In 1946, he became a member of Mt. Zion United Methodist Church and was also a Mason in Bel Air # 44 Mt. Ararat Lodge. He was a long time dairy farmer and for many years was a member of DHIA, Farm Bureau and Grange. His family said he enjoyed photography, furniture finishing and gardening.

Mr. Parsons is survived by his wife, Ada R. Parsons (nee Roberts) of Bel Air, MD; three sons, William Gary Parsons of Philadelphia, PA, David Parsons of Poland Springs, ME and Paul Nelson Parsons of Troy, MT; one daughter, Cynthia Anne Bennett of Bel Air, MD; eleven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by two brothers, Lloyd Parsons and Gwyn Parsons.
