Jarrett L. Wiley

Jarrett L. Wiley, aged 90, of Forest Hill, Maryland, passed away peacefully on February 14, 2024, at Sunshine Acres Assisted Living in White Hall, Maryland. Born in Baltimore, Maryland, he was the beloved son of the late Nicholas and S. Louise (Miller) Wiley and devoted husband to the late Phyllis (Crowl) Wiley.

Jerry was a lifelong member of the Jarrettsville Volunteer Fire Company and a lifelong member of Bethel Presbyterian Church. He graduated from North Harford High School in 1951, leaving behind a legacy of commitment to his education and community.

A true aficionado of antique tractors, Jarrett found joy in restoring and collecting them, particularly favoring the iconic Farmall brand. His passion for these machines reflected his deep-rooted connection to farming, where he spent his formative years on a dairy farm, instilling in him a profound sense of pride and work ethic.

Following his farming years, Jerry dedicated three decades to serving his community as a water plant manager for Harford County. His diligent work ethic and unwavering commitment left an indelible mark on all who knew him.

Jerry's greatest source of pride and joy was his family. He cherished moments spent with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, finding immense fulfillment in their presence, and celebrating every milestone with unwavering love and support.

Jarrett is survived by his loving son, David (Teresa) Wiley; devoted daughter, Lynne (Mark) DiBastiani; caring brother, Donald (Linda) Wiley; adored grandchildren, Sarah Wiley, Jacob (Oliva) Wiley, Benjamin DiBastiani, Kirsten DiBastiani, Samuel DiBastiani, and LeAnna Campbell; and beloved great-grandchildren, Jackson McGinty, Jameson McGinty, Penelope Wiley, and Evelyn Wagner.
