Janice Claire Bulger (Tinkham)

After a long battle with liver disease, Janice went to meet her Lord and Savior on, Tuesday, December 15, 2020, in Churchville, Maryland surrounded by her family.

Janice was born on November 6, 1946 to the late Edward and Hazel Tinkham in Beverly, Massachusetts. She graduated from Gould Academy in Bethel, Maine in 1964, where she was a member of the ski team. She earned her AA Degree in Marketing from Endicott College in Beverly, Massachusetts in 1966. Following college, Janice worked in the banking industry at Beverly Savings Bank.

Janice was the beloved wife of David A. Bulger for 53 years. However, their love story began many years earlier when they met each other at a church youth group dance when they were 14 and 15 years old. After marrying on November 11, 1967, Janice and David began their life of adventure. Being a wife of an Air Force Officer, Janice lived in various states making many friends along the way. Janice is survived by her two children: Eric Bulger and his wife, Laura of White Hall, Maryland and Elizabeth Boshek and her husband, Bradley of Winter Garden, Florida. She is also survived by six grandsons: Austin, Ethan, Carson, Jacob, Ryan, and Joshua.

Janice was an active member of Grandview Christian Church in Fallston, Maryland. She is famously known as the “card lady”. She lovingly and diligently sent cards to all she knew for encouragement, sympathy, accomplishments, birthdays, anniversaries or just a note to make you smile. She made a lasting impression on all she came in contact with. Often times finding her in long conversations with cashiers and anyone in the service industry. She was an example of a person with a servant’s heart. She was best known for her selflessness and always putting others first. We know for certain we will meet again.

The family will host a Memorial Service on Saturday 1/2/21 at Grandview Christian Church, 2403 Pleasantville Road, Fallston, MD 21047. Service will begin at 11:00 AM and a luncheon will follow
