Janet F. Meyer

Janet Fifield Meyer, age 81, passed away on December 12, 2020. She was born in Baltimore to Douglas and Bessie Fifield and is predeceased by her sister and best friend, Lois Zeller. She was the loving wife of Bernard F. Meyer, Jr. for 60 years. She was the devoted mother of Kate Burke (Tom), Nancy Duval (William), Diana Justice (Dave) and Douglas Meyer (Rosemary). She was also Gram to Megan, Brian, Paul, Annika and Harrison and Great-Gram to four beautiful great-granddaughters.

Family and faith meant everything to Janet. She was a lifelong Episcopalian and enjoyed serving Holy Cross Church and Church of the Nativity, Cedarcroft prior to that. Her favorite past times included gardening, quilting, baking and entertaining in her backyard pool. She was a compassionate and dedicated nurse for over 45 years.

Her love of life and incredibly kind demeanor will be genuinely missed by all of those who knew and loved her.
